September 22nd, 2009: Shakespeare and Drowning

I have horrible nights when I'm worried, but it's not like I sleep well when I'm happy and excited. However, I did find this interesting.

I saw two actors performing a play, a man and a woman. I think the woman had blonde hair, the man had sandy hair and a beard, both were beautiful. The woman was lying down on a bed, as if acting out some enchanted-sleep scene (that was the impression I got, right along the lines of Snow White) and the man was kneeling next to her. Their dress was what I can only describe as Arthurian. He was wearing a blue tunic, and she a deep green gown. The man also held a sword.
I just remember him smiling and leaning over her, speaking his lines.

Then I sort of switched, and got a look at the authours working on the play. And the strange thing was (and this is a part of literature history that's escaped me) that it was a collaboration between Shakespeare and another writer.
And I saw the two of them in Victorian dress (couldn't even get the time right); pinstriped trousers and top hats, standing in a room smoking and discussing.

And the truth is, I was really interested in this play, and as I woke up I remember thinking "god, I have to go online and order this play" before I remembered that there is no such play. Now that sucks.

And then, apparently unrelated, I was dropped into water. Sea, pool, river, I have no idea, but blue water. And I really had trouble opening my eyes, I couldn't see a thing, and I was sort of powerless and heavy, so I didn't start swimming upwards right away, so I sank pretty deep. So, when I finally started moving, I didn't know how far below the surface I was, or how much air I'd need (didn't have much in any case). And that last breath before I broke the surface was not nice at all, I'm sure I was gasping in my sleep, but exactly then I woke up, all thankful that there was air around, and I wasn't drowning.
